Not actually a resort in the traditional sense, Lake Pillsbury is a campground in beautiful Northern California. It offers the following accommodations:
30 Camp Sites
1 RV Hookup (The hookup is spoken for. If you are thinking of bringing an RV, let’s talk about options)
10 Cabins
Flush Toilets
Coin-operated Showers
WiFi will be available in some areas
Highlights:
Amenities for everyone!! At least one cabin will be designated as communal, which means even tent campers will have access to a shower, toilet, a kitchen, and some extra shelter if you find you need it.
There are certainly enough cabins available for everyone who needs one, and hopefully enough for everyone who prefers one. Notably, we will need to provide bedding for the cabins. But luckily, the Lythcott-Haimses own more duvets than you’ve ever seen.
The campground accommodates tents, camper vans, and RVs with hookups, so your camping setup can be whatever you want.
A few notes:
Limited electricity (generators)
No reliable cell service
Please note that we will be covering the cost of all accommodations at Lake Pillsbury.
Alternate Accommodations:
Although there are AirB&Bs available in the region, they are at least an hour’s drive from the campground on unpaved roads.
Getting There
The campground is about 4 ½ hours from the Bay Area, 2 ½ hours from the nearest airport, and lies nestled at the end of a long dirt road (about 1 hour of slow driving).
By Air
The closest airport (2 ½ hours) is the Charles M. Schultz - Sonoma County Airport (STS)
The Bay Area airports (SFO, OAK, SJC) are 4-5 hours away, but closer to our California family.
If you are planning to rent a car and have space for one or more passengers, please let us know so that we can arrange carpools.
If you need a ride from an airport, let us know, and we will connect you with someone who has space in a car.
